Members get hands-on access to HMS studios, gear, and producer training, early invitations to screenings and forums, a vote in the community priorities that guide our programming, and a standing welcome at the table where the next chapter of HMS is written. Houston is forty years of stories that never made the evening news — the corner shop that became an institution, the block that organized itself, the elder whose memory holds a whole community. HMS interns rotate through production, editing, broadcast operations, and newsroom workflows alongside veteran producers — building a real reel and real relationships.
